The Île-aux-Noix / Lake Champlain Nautical Station is known for its thriving boating industry. This region is also the gateway for boaters heading to Lake Champlain. They can find in the region anything and everything related to boats from products to services as well as many attractions that make the area a top boating destination. Maritime history abounds with the likes of Fort Lennox and the Chambly Canal with its historical locks. Beautiful Île-aux-Noix where Fort Lennox is located is also a stop where boaters will find a natural and well protected setting for fun and relaxation.

The Ile-aux-Noix / Lake Champlain Nautical Station covers an area going from the town of Chambly at the Chambly Canal entrance to the Canadian border on the Richelieu River at the northern end of Lake Champlain. The municipalities of Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Saint-Blaise-sur-Richelieu, Sainte-Anne-de-Sabrevois, Saint-Paul-de-l'Île-aux-Noix, Henryville, Noyan et Lacolle are also part of the Nautical Station’s territory, including Missisquoi Bay (Saint-Georges-de-Clarenceville and Venise-en-Québec). Nautical activities are plentiful and varied; services for all who are into these abound. Marinas, many being part of the Marina Rating program of the QMA, can fulfill every boater’s needs and expectations. Great beaches, outdoors pools, water parks, superb skin diving spots for beginners and experts, swimming and fishing (summer or winter) and ice skating in winter are among the many activities the whole family can enjoy.

In Venise-en-Québec, visitors can immerse themselves in a vibrant nautical setting given the presence of the superb municipal beach half circling the northern end of Missisquoi Bay. This is where the action in summer for sailboarders, catamaran sailors, jet skiers and water skiers.
